Who Can Sign Up?

*Children aged 4 to 12 years old!

We encourage all personality types to join us, as Sparx is perfect for not only the outgoing spotlight lover, but also kids who may be shy and nervous to open up. At Sparx, our acting classes are designed to make each child feel special and embrace their individual strengths!

What will my child learn?

Your child will experience a week of empowerment, creativity and most importantly…fun!

Each camp day will offer Empowering Acting games, lessons and activities based around social-emotional growth and objectives from the Ontario Curriculum. NO acting experience is necessary!

In addition to learning about social-emotional skills, such as how to cope with bullying, anxiety and public safety; children will learn valuable acting techniques that will help increase their confidence, imagination and public speaking skills.

The best part is that your child will have a blast and not even realize they are learning!

HIGHLIGHT OF THE CAMP: Students will help create, rehearse and perform a ‘Sparx Showcase’ for friends and family on the last day of camp! (YES! Kids each choose their own character and plot details!) 

Children Will Also:

Spend time outdoors and at the nearby playground! (Just like recess at school!) weather dependent.

Do arts & crafts, colouring and reading. (All which reinforce or relate to our special beneficial lessons!)

Participate in a Sparx themed scavenger hunt and relay races!

Have daily mindfulness and relaxation time.

Participate in various educational and enjoyable acting exercises including games, scene work and improvisation.

Use experiential and play-based learning to effectively problem solve in situations.

Build confidence and independence.

Be mentored and encouraged to make strong choices that will help grow their unique selves!

Other Camp Options:

1. Single Camp Day Option:  If we DO NOT SELL OUT a camp, we can accommodate daily camp drop in days. Email us first at info@sparxstudioacting.com to ask if there is space for your child. To join us for 1 day of camp, you can E-transfer info@sparxstudioacting.com $84.75 ($75 + tax).. We will contact you after your payment is received. Please know that if you do this option, your child will not be in the group play. However, we will of course still actively involve them by having them be our “assistant director” during rehearsals!

2. Afternoons Only Option:  We will gladly accommodate Afternoons Only from 12pm-4pm from Monday-Friday! To register for this option: 1) E-transfer info@sparxstudioacting.com $282.50 ($250 + tax) and complete the online Sign Up Form

We will contact you after your Payment & Form is received.

3: *Before Care Option:  We will gladly accommodate a Before camp care option from 8:30am-9:00am Monday-Friday. To add-on this option: 1) E-transfer info@sparxstudioacting.com $50.85 ($45+tax) and in the message write that it is for Before Care and the camp week dates. If you would like to sign up for a single Before Care day, please E-transfer us $14.69 ($13+tax).

Group and Child Information:

-We plan to separate the groups into Little Sparkies (Jk-Gr.2) and Big Sparx (Gr.3-6) groupings. We do this as best we can according to who registers for each week of camp.

*-Please note that all children must be at least 4 years old by the first day of camp to register and all children must NOT require 1:1 support from our staff. *

-If you have a promo code please note it is applied to a limit of one child’s order.

-Min. of 5 kids needed for a camp to run. If not met, customers will receive a full credit or refund.
